Kind Lending is seeking a Retail Loan Consultant in Austin, TX to proactively solicit new residential mortgage business and build a residual pipeline. The role emphasizes relationship-building with mortgage professionals and customers while handling loan origination from application to pricing.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of FHA, VA, conventional, jumbo, refinance, and purchase loans, plus solid communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of full-time retail loan origination experience.
• Ability to analyze finances and advise on loan options.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated mortgage professional with attention to detail.
• Experience with FHA, VA, conventional, jumbo, refinance and purchase loans.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with borrowers to help them reach mortgage goals.
• Solicit new residential mortgage business daily and manage residual pipeline.
• Consult with customers to determine the best loan products for their needs.
• Input customer data into loan origination software and price loans accurately.
• Ensure loans meet customer needs and Kind Lending guidelines.
• Coordinate with operations staff to process the loan applications.
