Job summary

Kind Lending is seeking a Retail Loan Consultant to proactively solicit new residential mortgage business and build a residual pipeline. You will network with mortgage professionals and establish relationships across purchase and refinance markets to meet monthly and annual sales goals.

You will consult with borrowers, analyze finances, and recommend loan products while ensuring loans meet client needs and company standards. Experience in FHA/VA/conventional products is valued.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of full-time retail loan origination experience.
• Active and/or Approved-inactive NMLS license in the state where business will be conducted.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport and leverages existing relationships with network and potential borrowers to help customers achieve mortgage financing goals.
• Consult with customers and analyze their financial situations to provide suitable loan options.
• Ensure each loan meets customer needs and Kind Lending guidelines.
• Understand loan origination process and manage applications with support staff.
• Input and upload customer information into loan origination software.
• Structure and price loans accurately in accordance with Kind Lending guidelines.
