Job summary

Kind Lending is seeking a Retail Loan Consultant to proactively generate residential mortgage business and build a residual pipeline. You will network with mortgage, real estate, and industry professionals to meet monthly and annual sales goals while managing relationships and loan pipelines.

The role requires 3+ years in retail loan origination, excellent communication, and the ability to price loans. A valid NMLS license is required to operate in the designated state, with compensation

Qualifications

• Three or more years’ full-time retail loan origination experience.
• Possess good judgment, problem-solving and researching skills, and the ability to accept responsibility in complex situations.
• Ability to structure and price loans.
• Active and/or Approved-inactive NMLS license in the state where business will be conducted.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated mortgage professional with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport with borrowers and leverages relationships to help achieve mortgage goals.
• Consult with customers and analyze financials to recommend suitable loan products.
• Ensure loans meet customer needs and Kind Lending guidelines.
• Understand loan origination process and coordinate with support staff to manage applications.
• Input and upload customer information into loan origination software.
• Structure and price loans accurately and in line with Kind Lending policies.
