Kind Lending in Austin, TX (remote) seeks a Retail Loan Consultant to proactively solicit new residential mortgage business and build a residual pipeline to meet monthly and yearly sales goals. You will generate leads by networking with mortgage, real estate, and industry professionals and nurture relationships in the purchase and refinance markets.

The role requires 3+ years of full-time retail loan origination, strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to structure and price

Qualifications

• Three or more years of full-time retail loan origination experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated mortgage professional with strong follow-through.
• Ability to structure and price loans.
• NMLS license in the applicable state (Active or Approved-inactive).

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport and leverages relationships to help customers achieve mortgage financing goals.
• Consult with customers and analyze financial situations to recommend loan products.
• Ensure loans meet customer needs and Kind Lending standards.
• Understand loan origination process and coordinate with operations staff.
• Input and upload applications into loan origination software.
• Structure and price loans accurately per Kind Lending guidelines.
