Averra Financial is seeking a detail-oriented Lock Desk Analyst to support daily mortgage pricing and rate-lock operations in our Plano, TX office. You will verify rate-lock requests, monitor expirations, and assist brokers and internal teams with timely, accurate pricing.

The role requires strong knowledge of mortgage lending, excellent data accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Experience with mortgage lending operations or rate-lock processing is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn pricing platforms and mortgage systems.

Responsibilities

• Process, review, and maintain mortgage rate-lock requests per policies and guidelines.
• Verify loan details, lock terms, expiration dates for accuracy.
• Handle extensions, relocks, cancellations, and renegotiations per investor requirements.
• Analyze pricing data to identify discrepancies and escalate issues.
• Respond to inquiries from mortgage brokers and internal stakeholders about rate locks and pricing.
• Monitor lock expirations and manage time-sensitive requests to avoid delays.
