Guild Mortgage Company, a long-standing mortgage banking firm, seeks a Loan Officer Assistant (Lead to Contract) in Madison, WI. You will support originators by building loan files, handling client communications, and preparing essential documents across the loan process.

This role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and compliance with investor guidelines. You will manage appointments, run credit/AUS findings, and coordinate with marketing and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with 2+ years in mortgage lending or related field.
• Active MLO licensing required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Strong urgency and responsiveness in customer service.
• Proficiency with data entry and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Act as primary contact for licensed activity for the loan officer.
• Assist originator with setting appointments and managing calendar.
• Provide timely lead callbacks and maintain appointment conversion.
• Prepare 1003 forms and analyze borrowers’ credit and financials.
• Run credit and AUS findings, and prepare Initial Fee Worksheet.
• Assist with updates to credit reports and required documentation.
