Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant in Columbia, SC to support loan originators by building complete loan files and handling contract-to-close activities. The role requires strong organization, timely communication with customers, and adherence to Guild policies.

Responsibilities include appointment setting, credit analysis, 1003 data collection, document handling, and coordination with processors and referral partners.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least two years mortgage lending experience.
Active MLO license required.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist originators in building complete loan files.
Lead to Contract and Contract to Close duties.
Set appointments and manage calendars.
Analyze credit and determine suitable loan products.
Prepare and submit loan applications and disclosures.
Provide excellent customer service and timely updates.
Ensure compliance with Guild policies.
