Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support loan officers in daily duties and to help increase loan production. You will work directly with customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive experience and timely closings.

Key responsibilities include reviewing applications and disclosures, creating rate packages, and managing a diverse loan pipeline (conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, reverse). Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation (phone/computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing).
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver to borrower.
• Review documents and entire loan files, highlight deficiencies, notify loan officer/processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information as necessary via phone or email.
• Support loan officers and processors with clerical tasks and pipeline management.
• Assist in managing a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and related loan products.
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to borrowers and obtain proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items and follow up to ensure timely documentation; facilitate timely closings with Title Company.
