Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support loan officers in daily duties, with focus on timely closings and a positive customer experience. You will work directly with customers, loan officers, and processors to streamline documentation and communication.

The role requires at least a year of mortgage-related experience, strong communication and time-management skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong prioritization and time management abilities.
• Salesforce experience and Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, including calls and admin tasks.
• Review disclosure packages and deliver to borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver to borrower.
• Review loan files, highlight deficiencies, and notify loan officer/processor.
• Clarify information and obtain missing details via phone or email.
• Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and processors.
• Support lending and processing in various stages with management.
• Help manage pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage loans.
• Deliver appraisals/valuations to borrower and confirm receipt.
• Track outstanding items and follow up to obtain required documents.
• Facilitate timely closings by coordinating with Title Company and borrower.
