Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support mortgage loan officers in daily duties and improve loan production. You will work directly with CCM customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and timely closings.

The role requires at least 1 year of mortgage-related experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills. Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage loan applications and documentation via phone and computer work.
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver to borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver to borrower.
• Review documents and loan files to identify deficiencies and notify loan officer/processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information as needed via phone or email.
• Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and processors as needed.
• Assist in managing pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage loans.
• Deliver appraisals/valuations to borrowers and obtain proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items on loan files and follow up for timely documentation.
• Coordinate with Title Company and borrower to schedule timely closings.
