Happy State Bank seeks a Mortgage Loan Processor II to handle processing from application through closing. You will navigate FHA, VA, Conventional, Bond and RD loans while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and delivering timely, client-focused service.

The role involves coordinating with loan officers, borrowers, real estate partners, and regulators, and requires strong attention to detail and skilled use of loan origination systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years mortgage loan processing experience required.
• Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, RD and Bond loans preferred.
• 1 year experience with Encompass Anywhere preferred.
• 5+ years experience using personal computers.
• Proficient telephone and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple files simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and address borrower questions about mortgage loans.
• Process FHA, VA, Conventional, Bond and RD loans after application, including verifications and orders.
• Coordinate with real estate agents, appraisers, and title companies to prepare loans for closing.
• Prepare month-end reports for banks and regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with Mortgage Loan Officer to maintain high levels of customer service.
• Refer customers to appropriate bank personnel as needed.
• Perform routine tasks on Encompass, DO, DU, LP, DocMagic and related systems.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and communicate changes to the loan file as required.
