Job summary

Private Job Board is seeking a Loan Processor to own the timely processing of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and bond mortgage files. The role ensures complete applications and satisfaction of underwriting and closing requirements, liaising with borrowers, originators and partners.

The candidate will review and assemble documentation, validate data in Encompass, and maintain compliance with TRID rules while driving loans toward closing with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 5+ years related experience as a processor or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of real estate documentation, underwriting policies, compliance.
• Familiarity with TRID (TILA/RESPA).
• Proficiency with DU, LP, GUS; experience with Encompass/Engen preferred.
• Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to pre-underwrite a loan file.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review new files within 48 hours and verify documents.
• Review mortgage applications for accuracy and update LOS.
• Assist borrowers and guide them through the loan process.
• Coordinate third-party services (survey, appraisal, title, insurance).
• Prepare disclosures per TRID and submit to Underwriting for pre-approval.
• Monitor pipeline to ensure loans meet closing dates and SLA.
