American State Bank & Trust Company is seeking an on-site Mortgage Loan Processor to handle documentation, processing, and closing activities for real estate loans. You will collaborate with the Real Estate Department to ensure accurate submissions to Home Point Financial and state housing programs, while maintaining compliance with internal policies and federal regulations.

Formación

• 1-2 years of experience in real estate secondary market programs and operating systems.
• Good secretarial/computer skills along with strong communication.
• Sitting at a desk with a computer; mobility to access files and records from various loan areas.
• Flexibility with schedules to participate with Real Estate and Loan Divisions.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare or review mortgage loan documentation to originate and close loans.
• Prepare appraisal requests, title orders, verifications, credit reports, and flood certifications.
• Assemble processing and closing files and ensure compliance with loan policy and regulations.
• Enter new loans into the database and monitor escrow accounts and payments.
• Assist in closing statements and servicing duties as directed by Loan Officers.
• Support Real Estate Officers with customers signing of loan documents.
