Job summary
Bank of Utah is hiring a Full-Time Mortgage Loan Processor II to support Loan Officers in origination and processing of mortgage loans. The role ensures files are complete, compliant, and investment-worthy, coordinates closings, and trains Level I processors when needed.
The successful candidate will have 1–3 years in mortgage loan processing, strong knowledge of FHA/VA/conventional programs, and excellent attention to detail and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in Mortgage Loan Processing.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, Utah Housing and non-conforming loan programs.
- Able to submit files to underwriting with few conditions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Performs initial file setup and inputs application data into LOS.
- Prepares and sends initial application packages after LO approval.
- Analyzes paperwork to determine needed items for borrower files.
- Indexes documents into LOS and monitors regulatory compliance.
- Orders and reviews AUS, appraisals, title commitments and flood certifications.
- Keeps loan data up to date and supports closings.
