Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC in Florida is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to deliver quality service by gathering documentation and coordinating with loan officers to move files toward underwriting. You will review borrower credit, income, and assets and assemble the package for underwriting with accuracy.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' residential mortgage processing experience.
Experience with Encompass required.
Working knowledge of RESPA and mortgage regulations.

Responsibilities

Review borrower credit, employment, income, and assets for underwriting.
Assemble loan package for underwriting in proper order.
Verify required documentation (pre-underwrite).
Prepare loan approval summaries and forms; coordinate with loan originator and underwriter.
Ensure compliance with mortgage regulations (RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B).
Communicate with vendors to obtain surveys, certificates, and payoff info.
Manage pipeline and reports within turn-around times.
Assist with loan closing, secondary marketing, and servicing to clear suspense items.
