Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to deliver quality customer service by gathering documentation and coordinating with Loan Officers to underwrite loans. You will ensure proper disclosures and maintain accurate files throughout the processing cycle.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience, strong knowledge of Encompass, and familiarity with RESPA, Regulation Z/B.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general mortgage lending regulations.
• Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets for underwriting.
• Assemble complete loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation in file and complete loan checklist.
• Prepare loan approvals and ensure accuracy of forms 1008 and 1003.
• Communicate with Loan Originator, customer, and Underwriter to obtain missing documentation.
