Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to ensure high-quality customer service by gathering documents to underwrite loans and coordinating with borrowers and loan officers. You will provide required disclosures and maintain accurate files throughout the underwriting process.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of residential mortgage processing experience, proficiency with Encompass, and strong knowledge of RESPA and related regulations, with

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
Experience with Encompass and mortgage-related regulations (RESPA, TIL, Reg B/Z).
Strong knowledge of DU and LP, MS Office, and Windows.
Excellent math, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Review borrower credit, employment, income and assets for underwriting.
Assemble loan packages and verify documentation for underwriting.
Prepare loan approvals, disclosures, and ensure accuracy of printed documents.
Maintain pipeline, communicate with loan originator, borrower, and underwriter.
