Job summary

Vantage-Credit-Union is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor in Missouri to support a fast-paced mortgage pipeline. You will assist borrowers and teammates through every step of loan processing, ensuring documents meet guidelines and timelines.

Role requires at least three years in first mortgage processing, proficiency with Encompass LOS, and ability to handle 25+ per month. Secondary market experience is a plus and the position emphasizes accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of first mortgage loan processing history.
• Oversee a pipeline of 25+ conventional files per month.
• At least 1 year of experience with Encompass LOS software.
• Secondary market experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members and borrowers in processing a Mortgage Loan Application, answering questions over the phone and in person.
• Help members assess all loan documents needed to meet guidelines and complete processing of their mortgage loan application.
• Engage with management, loan originators, underwriters, members, and third-party vendors to ensure a cooperative work environment.
• Request, order, and gather documentation for submission to investors and/or underwriting in a timely manner.
• Pre-order all needed outsourced items following milestone tasks and workflows.
• Review files to ensure they stay structured throughout the process.
• Assist underwriting by reviewing guidelines, income, assets, and help issue TBD pre-approvals.
• Assist members and work with third-party companies to clear underwriting conditions.
• Send initial closing disclosure (ICD) and ensure file stays MAVENT compliant.
• Closing knowledge to assist as needed; experience with loan balancing, closing document creation, wire orders and final document reviews for funding.
