Job summary

Vantage Credit Union in Saint Charles, MO seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our lending team. You will process applications, verify documents, and coordinate with originators, underwriters, and investors to move loans toward funding.

The role requires at least three years in mortgage processing, familiarity with Encompass LOS, and the ability to manage 25+ files per month. This full‑time position focuses on accuracy, timeliness, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of first mortgage loan processing experience.
• Ability to oversee a pipeline of 25+ conventional files per month.
• At least one year of experience with Encompass LOS software; secondary market experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members and borrowers in processing a Mortgage Loan Application.
• Help members assess all loan documents to meet guidelines and complete processing.
• Engage with management, loan originators, underwriters, members, and vendors to ensure a cooperative work environment.
• Request, order, and gather documentation needed for submission to investors/underwriting.
• Pre‑order outsourced items and review files to keep them structured.
