First Western Financial, Inc. is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to join our Fort Collins team. You will help high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals, delivering comprehensive mortgage solutions and exceptional service.

Responsibilities include developing a referral network, soliciting new loan business, and guiding loans through processing and closing with timely updates. Requires 1–3 years in residential lending and active NMLS registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1–3 years of residential mortgage lending experience, preferably within a bank environment.
• Active NMLS registration required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a quality referral network through prospecting and outreach.
• Solicit new mortgage loan business and meet annual sales goals.
• Oversee loan processing, underwriting, and closing with clear communication to all parties.
• Respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
• Meet applicants face-to-face or by phone and present full loan applications with documentation within 72 hours.
• Meet volume goals and participate in sales meetings and training.
