Job summary

Truist Financial is seeking a Mortgage Sales professional to market Truist Mortgage loan products and generate referrals to deepen client relationships. The role requires knowledge of banking policies, strong communication, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include marketing plans, referral execution, and assisting with documentation through closing, with a focus on compliance and customer needs within a regular work schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year in banking or lending with residential property knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication; good organizational skills.
• Interpersonal and negotiation abilities to grow mortgage referrals.
• Proficient with standard computer applications; ability to learn bank systems.
• SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Execute mortgage marketing and development plans to meet production goals.
• Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies, and secondary market guidelines.
• Comply with Truist policies and relevant state/federal laws.
• Provide sound mortgage advice based on client needs and Truist products.
• Develop referrals by introducing clients to other bank solutions.
• Assist with mortgage document follow-up and post-closing reviews.
