Job summary

Triad Financial Services Inc in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Direct Loan Originator to join our growing team. You will consult and sell Triad-approved applications to borrowers and retailers, and develop relationships throughout the home buying process.

You will advise borrowers and sellers, gather and clear conditions, order appraisals, and manage the loan pipeline to closing. Stay current with Triad products, rates, and guidelines, and coordinate across departments to maximize pull-through

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail mortgage loan knowledge/experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well within a team atmosphere.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with retailers and borrowers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage software products.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to set goals and divide processes into timelines.
• Applying investor guidelines to specific sales situations and using discretion and judgment to recommend appropriate products.
• Late shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Consult and sell Triad approved applications to borrowers and retailers.
• Develop relationships with approved Triad borrowers and retailers during the home buying process.
• Advise borrowers and sellers of the used home buying process, determining solutions, ordering appraisals and gathering/clearing conditions.
• Pipeline Management - facilitate movement of active loan files to closing in a timely manner.
• Understand Triad’s loan products, rates, guidelines, and loan process.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in market conditions that affect the company’s many loan products.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize the sales effort.
• Meeting or exceeding Triad pull-through goals (percentage of contracts ordered to loans approved).
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
