Job summary

Dream Finders Homes is seeking a results-oriented Loan Originator in Maryland to generate new business and maintain excellent client and referral-partner relationships. The candidate should have mortgage lending experience, be highly organized, and excel in customer service and communication.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal/external partners, managing the sales pipeline, and guiding clients through loan options, presentations, and closing disclosures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a mortgage loan originator.
• Strong MS Office skills and computer proficiency.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• NMLS license in MD (or ability to obtain).
• Experience with mortgage software (Encompass) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to move loans to closing.
• Monitor the sales pipeline and generate referrals and new business.
• Build client relationships and explain home mortgage products.
• Prepare mortgage coach presentations including total cost analyses.
• Package files for loan openers/processing staff and ensure accuracy.
• Lock loans, structure files, and review closing disclosures with clients.
