Job summary

Dream Finders Homes is seeking a results-driven Loan Originator to generate new business and maintain strong client and referral-partner relationships in Chantilly, VA. You will close loan packages while delivering exceptional service and clear communication with clients.

Requirements include mortgage industry experience, 3+ years as a loan originator, NMLS licensure for VA/MD, and proficiency with Encompass and MS Office. The role may involve weekend on-call shifts 1–2x per month.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a mortgage loan originator.
• NMLS licensure in VA or MD required.
• Experience with Encompass and mortgage programs.
• Willingness for weekend on-call 1–2x/month.
• Superior relationship, sales, and MS Office skills.
• Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and down-payment assistance loans.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to move loans through the process.
• Monitor pipeline, meet SLAs, and generate referrals.
• Build relationships and explain home loan options to clients.
• Prepare mortgage coach presentations and total cost analyses.
• Package files for processing and close loans with clients.
