Job summary

The Truist Mortgage Sales role in Clearwater, FL focuses on marketing and selling Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies while driving referrals to other services. You will understand client needs and explain product benefits, helping clients select the right mortgage solutions.

You'll follow state and federal guidelines, maintain knowledge of product policies, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless loan process from origination to closing, including adherence to

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in banking or lending with residential property knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications.
• SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop mortgage marketing plans to meet production goals.
• Know Mortgage Strategies, Policies and guidelines, and secondary market rules.
• Adhere to Truist policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide mortgage advice based on client needs and products.
• Refer mortgage clients to other bank solutions to deepen opportunities.
• Assist with document follow-up during fulfillment and post-closing review.
