Job summary

CountryPlace Mortgage in Plano, TX seeks a Lending Associate to support our Originations Department. You will collaborate with Loan Officers, Processors, Underwriters and Compliance to render credit decisions.

Your role includes reviewing loan documentation, credit reports, income and asset verification, and ensuring adherence to investor guidelines and internal policies. This in-person position offers growth within a nationwide lender.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Finance or Management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications, credit reports, income and asset documentation to render credit decisions.
• Maintain high level of service for retailers and customers.
• Communicate loan approval or denial reasons clearly.
• Work with staff to provide follow-up, counter offers and additional information.
• Refer loan requests with documentation to underwriters.
• Review conditions on approved loans and submit for approval.
• Ensure loans adhere to investor guidelines.
• Assist Loan Officers with service orders and condition submissions.
• Conduct trainings for new employees.
• Assist servicing by collecting payments during high volume.
• Adapt to multiple investor guidelines as needed.
• Meet or exceed individual, team and department objectives.
• Perform other duties and special projects.
