Selene Finance LP is seeking a Loss Mitigation Intake Specialist to review, validate, and process borrower assistance applications, ensuring complete documentation before evaluation. You will be the primary contact for borrowers seeking mortgage assistance and help maintain a smooth application flow.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and servicing systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, loan processing, or related financial services experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage servicing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review loss mitigation application packages for completeness and accuracy.
• Validate borrower documentation (pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, hardship letters, Social Security award letters, P&L statements, and other income verification documents).
• Identify missing or conflicting information and communicate documentation requirements to borrowers.
• Upload, index, and maintain documents within the servicing system.
• Send acknowledgment letters, document requests, and application status updates.
• Maintain accurate notes and records of borrower interactions.
• Ensure applications meet investor, insurer, company, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with Loss Mitigation Specialists and management to ensure timely file movement and resolution.
