Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years combined higher education and/or work experience.
• At least 2 years banking/mortgage industry experience.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and email software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Motivated, team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Paralegal Certificate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Complete timely and accurate reviews of past due loans that meet foreclosure referral requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of foreclosure quote requests.
• Adhere to regulations, state and investor/insurer guidelines and CFPB guidelines.
• Review multiple document imaging systems to obtain required data.
• Manage escalation requests via M&T Bank systems, emails, and verbal direction.
• Conduct research and review prior servicer payment histories.
• Collaborate with CAM, Collections, Loss Mitigation, SPOC and servicing teams for proper approvals.
• Understand referral documents and imaging systems.
• Perform quality control review of offshore document uploads to ensure foreclosure timeline progress.
• Promote compliance and risk controls per policy and regulatory standards.
• Support M&T Bank brand and inclusive culture.
• Maintain internal control standards and address audit findings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
