Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation in Getzville, NY is seeking an Operations Associate II to support foreclosure processes by handling demand letter distribution and related tasks across multiple states. You will process MI claims, REO payee headers, and initial foreclosure evaluations, while coordinating state filings and mail-merge activities.

The role requires one year of office experience, solid PC skills, strong communication, and the ability to work independently across multiple lines.

Qualifications

• 1 year relevant office experience or mortgage collections experience.
• Proficient PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet and email software.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and flexibility to support multiple business lines.
• Motivated team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Handle processing of MI Claim requests for the appropriate MI Company.
• Complete REO Payee Header requests, Foreclosure Evaluations, and Mortgage/Consumer check processing.
• Initiate and complete the state demand letter process for assigned states including registration procedures.
• Complete letter requests via Sharepoint including mail merge and quality review.
• Manage daily production of Online Letter Writer queues, certified mail labels, and UPS requests.
• Assist Mail Operations with sorting and delivery of mail items and warehouse support.
• Process daily scanning/indexing functions for all business lines within CAM.
• Identify and resolve problematic situations and escalate to Supervisor when needed.
• Adhere to compliance and risk controls and internal audit points.
• Promote an environment reflecting the M&T Bank brand.
