Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Correspondence & Dispute Specialist in Greenville to handle Qualified Written Requests and resolve borrower disputes within regulatory timelines. You will review loan histories, applicable policies, and compose final written responses.

The role requires strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate issues, with ongoing learning of RESPA, TILA, FCRA, and CFPB guidance.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years Mortgage Servicing or Origination experience.
• In lieu of 5+ years, bachelor’s degree with English concentration and 2+ years Mortgage Servicing or Origination experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize tasks to meet regulatory deadlines.
• Review loan history, documentation and policies to verify steps followed.
• Identify root causes and plan resolutions for issues.
• Ensure actions are taken to resolve disputes and communicate final resolutions.
• Coordinate with operational partners on loan details when needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned by management.
