Job summary

Newrez in Greenville, SC seeks a Homeowner Advocacy Analyst - Servicing to join the Compliance team. You will analyze and respond to borrower, investor, and regulator inquiries, document findings, and coordinate resolutions with cross-functional partners to protect regulatory compliance.

You will build knowledge of mortgage servicing policies, monitor case work, and help implement testing and monitoring routines while meeting deadlines and driving improvements for accurate customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; professional certifications advantageous.
• 2-4 years’ experience in mortgage industry, business controls, compliance, or audit.
• Proficiency with interpreting mortgage regulatory mandates and evaluating mortgage servicing documentation.
• Expertise in researching mortgage accounts to accurately identify and rectify potential errors with precision and efficiency.
• Demonstrated experience managing relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to borrower, investor, and regulator inquiries with accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of federal/state consumer protection laws and mortgage regulations.
• Communicate findings to QA auditors and drive process improvements.
• Manage caseloads to meet department standards and regulatory mandates.
