Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Correspondence & Dispute Specialist responsible for handling Qualified Written Requests, reviewing disputes, researching issues, and providing formal written responses within deadlines. The role requires staying current with RESPA, TILA, FCRA, and CFPB guidance.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, excellent written communication, and solid research skills. This position offers growth opportunities and a supportive work environment within the mortgage

Qualifications

Must be extremely detail oriented with passion for investigating and problem solving.
Excellent written communication skills; grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
Excellent research skills are required.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel.

Responsibilities

Prioritize and complete tasks according to regulatory deadlines.
Research loan history, documentation and policies to determine if steps were followed.
Research issues to identify root causes and plan action for resolution.
Ensure corrections are made to accounts to resolve disputes.
Compose or review written responses to borrowers and authorized representatives.
Communicate with operational partners on loan level details as needed.
Perform related duties as assigned by management.
