Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Collateral Servicing Specialist to support RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC. The role involves researching and reviewing borrower requests related to partial lien releases, easements, other property modifications, subordinations, CEMAs, and Co‑Ops, and maintaining relationships with document custodians to obtain collateral files.

You will work with external partners, educate yourself on guidelines and policies, and identify enhancements to streamline

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage servicing experience.
• Knowledge of legal descriptions, surveys, and property-related proposed agreements.
• Experience with partial lien releases, easements, and other property modification requests.
• Experience using MSP mortgage servicing platform.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower requests for partial lien releases, easements, land additions, eminent domain cases, boundary line adjustments, and subdivisions.
• Examine CEMA and Co-Op collateral documents to close transactions with RoundPoint’s preferred firm.
• Assist external clients with second-lien subordinations.
• Maintain relationships with document custodians to request and monitor release of collateral documentation.
• Research locations of collateral files for bulk transactions from other departments.
• Prepare assignments of mortgage and allonges.
• Stay up to date on federal, state, agency and client guidelines and procedures.
• Identify process improvements and new policies to enhance efficiency.
• Assist with additional projects or tasks as needed.
