CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Collateral Servicing Specialist to support RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC in Fort Mill, SC. You will review borrower requests related to partial lien releases, easements, CEMAs, and Co-Ops, and coordinate with document custodians to obtain collateral files.

The role emphasizes attention to legal descriptions, timely processing, and aligning with federal and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage servicing experience, required.
• Knowledge of legal descriptions, surveys, and property related proposed agreements, required.
• Experience with partial lien releases, easements, and other types of property modification requests, subordinations, CEMAs, and Co-Ops, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming borrower requests for partial lien releases, easements, additions of land, eminent domain cases, boundary line adjustments, and subdivisions.
• Work with RoundPoint’s preferred firm to examine CEMA and Co-Op collateral documents to close CEMA and Co-Op transactions.
• Assist external clients with second-lien subordinations.
• Maintain relationships with document custodians to request and monitor timely release of collateral documentation.
• Research locations of collateral files for bulk transactions from other departments.
• Prepare assignments of mortgage and allonges.
• Educate and stay up to date on federal, state, agency and client guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Identify enhancements to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
• Identify potential issues and participate in solutions; develop new policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional projects or tasks as needed.
