Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking a Program Aide to assist in implementing and evaluating youth programs across multiple areas. You will supervise members, support daily clubhouse operations, and help ensure a safe, engaging environment under the direction of the Clubhouse Director.

Ideal candidates will assist with planning activities, maintain attendance records, and collaborate with staff and volunteers to deliver positive development outcomes for youth ages 5–18.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
• Ability to work with youth ages 5-18.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to interact well with Youth Development Professionals, volunteers, and other related agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety and well-being of others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes.
• Promote and stimulate members' interest in core area program participation.
• Ensure members participate across program areas with respect and constructive feedback.
• Work with Clubhouse Director and staff to complete objectives on time.
• Plan programs and activities and support programs managed by others.
• Engage with members, families, and volunteers to provide information and guidance.
• Attend meetings and training to align with other departments.
• Demonstrate leadership in conduct and safety to ensure a proper environment.
• Serve as a mentor/role model for members.
• Provide direction and enforce standards for behavior.
• Maintain documentation and support for conduct issues.
• Keep club areas clean and safe, and assist with all duties as assigned.
• Enforce clubhouse rules and policies.
• Assist with completing required program documentation and reports.
• Support tracking of program metrics and daily attendance.
• Participate in operational events and training.
• Provide attention to special needs children as required.
• Drive Club vans periodically when needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and contribute to a high standards culture.
