Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking a Program Aide to implement and supervise youth programs across various areas. You will provide mentorship, ensure safe, respectful environments, and assist with daily Clubhouse operations to support positive youth development.

In this role you will work under the Clubhouse Director and collaborate with Youth Development Professionals and volunteers, coordinating activities, tracking attendance, and ensuring deadlines are met while upholding

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
Ability to work with youth ages 5-18.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).

Responsibilities

Lead and implement programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes.
Promote and stimulate members’ interest in core area program participation.
Ensure members participate in a variety of program areas and receive guidance to develop skills.
Ensure program objectives are met within club requirements, resources, and timelines.
Participate in planning programs and activities.
Support programs managed by fellow Youth Development Professionals.
Engage with members, families, and volunteers to relay information and facilitate programs.
Demonstrate leadership in member conduct and safety to ensure a proper environment.
Provide direction to members by enforcing standards and consequences for inappropriate behavior.
Assist in cleanliness and safe operation of program areas and Clubhouse.
Assist with documentation and tracking of programs and attendance.
Drive Club vans periodically as needed.
