Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services seeks an experienced Senior Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations at the Bessemer, AL site. You will lead a team, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, coordinating schedules, materials and equipment, troubleshooting issues, enforcing OSHA standards, training new employees, and reporting performance to management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production or manufacturing experience required.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Experience in construction manufacturing preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and follow production specifications and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and workflow to ensure production goals and deadlines are met
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees and supervisors
• Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency while identifying opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate production schedules, staffing, materials, and equipment needs
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards
• Maintain high standards for product quality and production accuracy
• Train and onboard new employees while supporting ongoing employee development
• Communicate production performance, challenges, and needs to management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment
• Help implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
