Old World Industries, Prattville, Alabama, is seeking a Production Leader to coordinate daily activities on assigned production lines. This hands‑on, hourly role reports to the Production Supervisor and guides the line workforce to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

You will set up and operate equipment, monitor performance, coordinate line start‑ups and changeovers, and coach staff on standard work and procedures. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Two plus years of supervisory or team lead experience in manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience operating or supporting manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to complete required equipment, safety, quality, and process training.

Aufgaben

• Lead employees on assigned production lines while remaining actively involved in daily production.
• Assign and adjust work based on the production schedule and qualifications.
• Communicate expectations for safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, and schedule Attainment.
• Coordinate line start-ups, changeovers, material needs, housekeeping, shutdowns, and shift handoffs.
• Coach and train employees on safe work practices, job duties, and standard procedures.
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
