Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisor/manager experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Associate's degree is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and SAP.
• Ability to sit/stand, lift 10–75 lbs., climb stairs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Be a decision maker and problem solver to maximize efficiency and manpower.
• Actively coaches and provides feedback to leads to support leadership development.
• Supervise and assist department leads daily to support production activities.
• Manage employee issues such as attendance, performance goals, and conduct; trigger corrective actions as needed.
• Engage teams to cultivate improvement and efficiency suggestions.
• Maintain readiness of department operations; troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
• Write, review, and update work instructions to support consistent production performance.
• Audit team work to ensure safety, quality, and productivity; report on department goals.
• Adjust staffing levels, shift schedules, and OT to meet production demand.
• Train and coach on safety, quality, and work processes; pursue skill upgrades.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed; enforce 5S, Lean practices.
