Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Bessemer, AL is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will lead a team, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to drive improvements while maintaining a clean, efficient production floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in construction manufacturing preferred.
• Read and follow production specifications and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and workflow to meet goals and deadlines.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees and supervisors.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency; identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate production schedules, staffing, materials, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Train and onboard new employees and support ongoing development.
• Communicate production performance and needs to management.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient production environment.
• Help implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
