Qualifications

• Prior hospitality or customer service experience required.
• Ability to handle cash and communicate clearly with guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat at tables and provide menus and information.
• Record wait lists, estimate wait times, and notify parties when tables are ready.
• Introduce guests to servers and ensure table is properly set.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and invite return visits.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, menus, and hostess stand.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and provide location information.
• Monitor house counts and VIPs to assist service staff as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints within authority or report to management.
