JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to deliver an outstanding customer experience through hands-on store operations. This early morning role involves teamwork to prepare the store before opening and support omnichannel efforts, pricing, replenishment, and stock management.

You will engage with customers, restock merchandise, unload shipments, and uphold backroom standards while learning and applying merchandising plans to drive sales and service.

Qualifications

• Requires 1-2 years of retail experience.
• Demonstrates strong customer service orientation.
• Able to adapt to early-morning schedule and fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and requests.
• Execute pricing and signage accurately across the store.
• Replenish and restock merchandise to meet customer demand.
• Receive and unload shipments; prepare merchandise for selling floor.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized backroom.
• Support omnichannel initiatives (Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, etc.).
• Follow merchandising plans to optimize product placement and presentation.
• Engage in ongoing learning and process improvements.
