Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Member Services Representative to be the first point of contact for members and guests, delivering friendly, professional service and handling membership inquiries, transactions, and tours. The role emphasizes creating a welcoming club experience and meeting membership goals.

The position requires on-site attendance, a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to learn Planet Fitness policies and procedures. Benefits include health coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and able to work onsite.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/AED certification within required timeframes and tanning certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist members with account inquiries, changes, and billing questions.
• Provide information about memberships and amenities; conduct tours and sign-ups.
• Promote membership specials and upgrades (e.g., Black Card).
• Check members into the POS system and process memberships, cancellations, and payments.
• Keep the club clean and safe; maintain restrooms and workout areas; ensure weights are returned to racks.
