Job summary

S&L Hospitality in Port Washington, WI is seeking an AM Morning Line Cook to prepare ingredients, set up stations, and ensure plate presentation meets guest expectations. Candidates should have hospitality experience, be able to lift, and work a 5am–2pm shift, with a focus on food safety and clean work areas.

We value detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals who can maintain professionalism and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or food service experience is preferred.
• Ability to push/pull/bend/lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 70 lbs, and frequently 15 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, or minimum age to work in a kitchen environment per laws.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Detail-oriented with focus on clean and safe environment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients using proper techniques and utensils.
• Ensure proper plate presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Follow food health and safety policies and procedures.
• Keep a sanitized, orderly workstation and kitchen environment.
• Check ingredient quality and restock station as needed.
