S&L Hospitality in Port Washington, WI is seeking an Experienced Line Cook who will follow the restaurant menu and health and safety procedures. Ideal candidates will have heart-of-house experience, with prep and line cook background and the ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, preparing ingredients, ensuring plate presentation, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or food service experience preferred (2 years).
• Able to push/pull/bend/lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 70 lbs, and frequently 15 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the kitchen.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Detail-oriented with focus on clean, safe environment.
• Professional attitude under pressure.
• English communication required (verbal and written).
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Able to grip and use knives and utensils safely during prep and service.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients using proper techniques and utensils.
• Ensure proper plate presentation and order accuracy.
• Follow and enforce food safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a sanitized, orderly kitchen workstation.
• Check ingredient quality, restock station as needed.
