S&L Hospitality in Port Washington, WI seeks a Line and Prep Morning Cook to operate 5am–2pm in the AM/breakfast window. You will prepare ingredients, set up stations, and ensure high-quality plate presentation while maintaining health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring experience in heart-of-house operations, are self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old to work in a kitchen per state/local laws.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Detail-oriented with focus on clean, safe workspace.
• Must communicate in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients using proper techniques and utensils.
• Ensure proper plate presentation and orders meet guest expectations.
• Follow and practice food health and safety policies and procedures.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly workstation and kitchen environment.
• Check quality of ingredients, restock and replenish station as necessary.
