Job summary

Guckenheimer is hiring a Cook to accurately prepare and portion meals across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events. You’ll work roughly 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and follow prep lists and production sheets to ensure high-quality service.

You will maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety, adhere to food safety and HACCP guidelines, and operate standard culinary equipment with diligence. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support client operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food according to prep lists and production sheets.
• Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and safety in line with guidelines and SOPs.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers and mixers.
• Communicate ingredient discrepancies or equipment issues to management; attend daily meetings.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
