Job summary

Alpha Austin campus seeks a Montessori Lead Teacher to drive PreK readiness, mentor Guides, and design play-based learning experiences that support developmental milestones.

You will coach individuals and groups, align weekly documentation, and communicate progress to families, with relocation assistance and in-person duties in Austin. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits and a six-figure compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related discipline; Master's degree or advanced certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or related area
• Demonstrated experience facilitating group activities with young children ages 3 to 5
• Documented success designing and executing play-based learning programs or curricula that promote developmental milestone achievement e.g. Montessori
• At least 1 year of experience mentoring or supervising a team of educators with accountability for performance outcomes
• Background preparing written progress communications for families and facilitating team coordination meetings within an educational environment
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship
• Commitment to working in-person at the Alpha Austin campus with relocation assistance provided as necessary

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective techniques and recognizing quantifiable achievements
• Create and lead play-based learning sessions that integrate SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, exemplifying excellence for your team
• Evaluate and align Guide documentation on a weekly basis for rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating alignment meetings to maintain milestone tracking visibility
• Develop family communications and conduct team coordination sessions that synchronize priorities and uphold collective standards for campus-wide PreK readiness targets
