Job summary

Alpha Austin is hiring a Curriculum Coordinator to lead 1:1 and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, while designing adaptive play-based learning blocks across readiness domains. You will track measurable milestones and coach families with evidence-based updates.

This hands-on leadership role spends about a third of time in classrooms, with the rest focusing on curriculum design, team coaching, and maintaining family communication. Relocation support is provided.

Qualifications

• / Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related field; Master’s or specialized training preferred
• / At least 5 years of professional experience with children ages 3 to 5, including as lead/primary teacher
• / Design and implement play-based curricula that advance developmental milestones (e.g., Montessori)
• / At least 1 year coaching or managing a team of educators with performance accountability
• / Experience preparing family progress updates and leading team alignment meetings in educational settings
• / Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• / Willingness to work in-person at Alpha Austin campus with relocation support if needed

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 and small-group coaching sessions for PreK Guides, modeling techniques and celebrating measurable wins
• Design and facilitate play-based learning blocks balancing SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor skills
• Review and calibrate Guide documentation weekly for rubric alignment and actionability
• Prepare family updates and run team huddles aligning priorities and milestones
