Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s ES AMER PCS division is seeking a Process Technician - 2nd Shift in North Carolina. Core hours are 3:00pm–11:30pm. The hourly rate for this position is $28.05 per hour.

You will set up, operate, assemble, and maintain molds and related equipment; troubleshoot problems; inspect parts; read blueprints; and follow safety and quality procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of manufacturing machinery experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience programming, setting, running, and performing maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Experience with various measuring instruments and ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties required to set up, assemble, operate, and maintain a variety of equipment
• Plan and perform mold set up and processing to ensure optimal utilization of labor and machinery
• Troubleshoot issues with machines, tools, materials, and equipment and make repairs and adjustments as needed or elevate for additional technical assistance
• Assemble molds and components as specified by orders, routers, and blueprints
• Break down, clean, and store used molds and components, removing carbon, rust, or excess rubber
• Perform first piece inspections of parts to ensure they are in tolerance
• Perform molding operation duties as needed to maintain flow of work through the department
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
• Perform other duties as required
